For over eight years, Amber N. Basares has been a noteworthy leader in the public relations space.

​

Amber has been nominated for the 2023 Jefferson Award for her public service contributions to Allen County. She served in the United States Marines on active duty for over four years and currently resides in Lima, OH.

​

Amber Basares has led an impressive career as a Marine and her four-plus years working at both Wounded Warrior Battalion West and as Marine Liaison for History and Museums Camp Pendleton, CA. In 2010, she was awarded the United States Marine Corps Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (w/1star), Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2) Certificates of Appreciation, Letter of Appreciation, Meritorious Mast, Sharpshooter Rifle Qualification Badge. Making rank as high as Sergeant or E-5.

Central to our mission is the introduction of the Lima Post II Black Pages, a comprehensive directory showcasing African American businesses and influential individuals, including the esteemed “Who’s Who in Beauty & Barbering”  “Who’s Who in Contractors”  “Who’s Who” and the dynamic “40 Under 40” list.
